My name is Jen, and I am a writer, book addict, homeschooling mom, educator, and avid traveler. I lived in the Chicago suburbs most of my life, until recently, when my family and I moved into an RV, to travel full-time. After 4 years of full-time travel, we created a home base in Boise, Idaho. We continue to plan shorter trips, but hope to go full-time again when our kids are through with high school.
My parents instilled a love of travel within me since my childhood, when they took my sisters and I on some memorable trips around the United States. They exposed us to historical sites and vast landscapes. My dad has visited nearly all 50 states, but my mother has visited EVERY one of the 50 states, a grand accomplishment, and a tradition that I strive to live on with my own family.
This blog is a way for me to chronicle my travels, as well as share my experiences with others. My hope is that I can be a resource for your own journey, whether it helps you to learn about places you plan to travel, allows you to reminisce about a similar journey you’ve taken, or simply brings you along for the ride.
Each week, I publish a new blog post about my travels. If you would like to sign up for email updates, please enter your name and email address below.
Thanks for visiting! ~ Jen
