Las Vegas has always been known as a playground for adults. But, what about vacationing in Vegas with your kids? Check out these FREE seven kid-friendly Las Vegas attractions that will keep the whole family happy:

1. Circus, Circus
The famous Circus Circus Hotel and Casino has been around for a very long time. Aside from the water slides and indoor amusement park, Circus Circus also has some excellent free entertainment. Beginning at 11:30 am daily, visit for some amazing Circus Acts, including trapeze artists, jugglers, and clowns.
2. Dancing Fountains at the Bellagio
The dancing fountains at the Bellagio Hotel are a must-see attraction. Catch one of the free, daily shows and watch over a thousand fountains entertain you. The fountains span 1,000 feet wide, and rise an impressive 460 feet tall. In the evening, the effect of the lights is even greater, sure to please the entire family.
3. Exploding Volcano at the Mirage
My boys very favorite attraction in Las Vegas was the exploding volcano at the Mirage Hotel and Casino. The explosion features shooting flames and fountains, choreographed to music. Be sure to check out a show hourly from dusk until 11pm.
4. Shopping
Shopping in Vegas offers a plethora of choices. However, shopping with kids in Vegas might take some planning. To keep their attention, there are two amazing stores that any sweets loving children will enjoy. Hershey’s Chocolate World and the M&M Store were both a lot of fun, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to escape for free.
5. Ethel M. Chocolates
Not far from Las Vegas, Ethel M. Chocolates is located in Henderson, NV. This location offers a free, self-guided factory tour, with some bonus candy at the end! We enjoyed walking the long hallway with massive windows overlooking the machines and workers.
Outside the Chocolate factory and store stands an impressive cactus garden, home to more than 300 type of cacti. Another free feature of Ethel M. Chocolates.
6. Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area
Just to the west of the Las Vegas Strip lies the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area. Start at the Visitor Center and explore both the indoor and outdoor exhibits. Then take a hike on one of the Park’s 26 trails, or experience the 13 mile scenic drive through the Aztec Sandstone landscape.

7. Seven Magic Mountains
Ten miles south of Las Vegas, along Interstate I-15, you will not want to miss the opportunity to see the Seven Magic Mountains. These colorful rock formations are part of an art exhibit by Ugo Rondinone on display until the end of 2021. Marvel at the 30-35 feet tall totems, sure to be a hit with the kids.
