Take the Flybus from the airport to Reykjavik. You can pre-book tickets here (cost per ticket is aprx $20 or 25 USD one way, this is the cheapest way to get into the city) and they also sell them both on the plane as well as directly at the airport. For convenience I recommend purchasing the more expensive option as you can choose to be taken right to your accommodation.
